this all works perfect because I can see the info from the audio displayed in this software I am using.īut I cannot hear any audio from the PC speakers, the software lets you choose PC SPEAKERS for its OUTPUT. Open Discord and go to Settings > Voice & Video > Output Device. Download and install virtual audio cable. the Virtual Cable OUT under Windows 10 user interface RECORDING audio setup then goes into this software. By using virtual audio cable, you can route your computer’s audio output to your Discord server, allowing you to share music and other audio with your friends.

this puts the audio from the Internet source into the Virtual Cable IN. When more than one app is recording from the same endpoint, each app will get a copy of the sound. When two or more apps are playing sounds to the same playback endpoint, these sounds will be mixed and transmitted to the recording side. The reason that 48KHz is preferred is because that is the native. These Virtual Cables can be used by more than one audio app at the same time.

I have software that requires the use of a Virtual Cable, in order to get the sound from the Internet source into this software I must disable the PC speakers and enable the Virtual Cable IN ,under Windows 10 user interface PLAYBACK audio setup. You have to use the TX Gain setting in the VAC setup, or, if you have DIGU selected.
